An Australian-born Harlequin, Libra (a.k.a. Tom Cornell) believed that the relative absence of Travelers in the industrial world was a direct result of the spread of modern psychiatric drugs. Although Harlequins Linden and Thorn did not agree with this view, they gave tacit support to Libra’s Christmas Eve attack on the Zieglar Lab in Bern, Switzerland. At the time, Zieglar was involved in the development of the powerful anti-depressant drug, Provan. While the lab was destroyed, the subsequent failure to stop the development and marketing of Provan ended any talk of future attacks on pharmaceutical research facilities. It should be noted that the Evergreen Foundation has given generous research grants for the development of psychotropic drugs.
